Member of campaign executive and transition committees.

Sample accomplishments:

  • Crafted and implemented a highly successful grassroots community outreach strategy reaching more than 70,000 Portlanders without the use of broadcast advertising. Said strategy resulted in a significant election victory for campaign.

  • Resolutions Northwest

Personally facilitated the resolution of community-based conflicts (e.g. neighbor to neighbor, landlord/tenant, small-claims) through case development and face-to-face joint mediation sessions for the City of Portland sponsored Neighborhood Mediation Program. Moderated community and neighborhood forums. Managed operations of mediation telephone call center, including the actions of ten mediator trainees and relevant case documentation. Community affairs consultant to the City of Portland. Coordinated grassroots community affairs and constituent relation efforts for the 12,000-member NW Portland coalition of neighborhoods and the City of Portland.

    Sample accomplishments:

  • Created awareness and support for major, high-impact, highly disruptive construction activities through urban traffic corridor by engaging 20,000 residents through high profile informational events and vigorous "door-to-door" contact. Results: traffic reduced by 45,000 vehicles per day; dozens of businesses preserved; construction effects contained to a twenty-block area.

  • Developed contact and informational databases for 10,000 direct and indirect project stakeholders. Databases provided project staff with previously unattainable detail regarding constituent exposure to project activities and facilitated a 500% increase in stakeholder contact.
